  1. We had 16 boats turn out for the first night event of the year. The weather conditions were HOT, the fishing- not so much. Only 4 Limits were weighed in out of the 16 boat field . Water temps ranged from the Low 80's to Upper 80's & was pretty clear. Storms rolled thru around dark thirty, giving way to clear skies afterwards. As always, The Tournament Committee would like to Thank everyone who came out. 1. 2. Alright guys- cutoff will be 5:40. We will blast across the lake from Dandridge on the bluff. Make sure to allow enough time as there is another Tx going out of Dandridge Ramp, Parking may be tight.
  3. Congrats on the new floater.
  4. Lol @ Steve.
  5. We had a great turnout for the 5th event of TNBF Tournament Trail as 20 boats took to the water. Anglers were greeted to an overcast morning which gave way to Sunny conditions in the afternoon. As far as the lake, it ranged from muddy up lake to a slight stain down with temps in the mid 60's- the lake rose approximately one foot during tournament hours. To the results- there were 16 Limits weighed in out of 20 boats. The Tournament Committee would like to thank everyone who came out and fished. 1. 6. congrats on the win

  7. Alright guys, cutoff will be 5:45 and we will blast around 6:15. I'll be at the ramp a little before 5. Look for a white F-150 with a red/white Bullet in tow- I'll be taking up money and also make sure if you haven't fished with us to bring your completed release form. See everyone in the AM.
  8. Hard to beat the ole ball and chain this time of year and it definitely fits your style of fishing. Through the years a 4" finesse worm is also hard to beat. As far as electronics go- prepare to learn them and be proficient in using them. Learning to fish offshore won't come to you overnight and it's an art to read what's taking place on your graph/down scan/side scan. There are guys that never make a cast practicing this time of year and spend it glued to the screen idling over ledges looking for the right schools. Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and fish bigger baits/techniques.
  9. Good luck with the sale Steve. Somebody is going to get a sharp ride that's been taken care of.
  10. Glad you finally got a Shelley Rod. He made me a Rig Rod and also a couple of 7' spinning rods. You can't beat the MHX blanks- if there is a specific length or power that your looking for, then he can build it to your specifications.
  11. As the others have said above- Moonlites without a doubt. They have several configurations to choose from: black/green, black/white. The owner/inventor frequents the website and can answer any questions you have.
  12. Congrats John & Justin on the W. Also, congrats to Brad on BF.
  13. Yes, that will be fine.
  14. Since blindhawg doesn't throw one anymore, I'd say a jig.
