  1. After receiving all the votes the totals for the location of the 2019 TNBF Classic have been tallied and the location has been decided. This year's classic will be fished on Douglas Lake from the Dandrige ramp. The totals were 12 votes for Douglas, 5 for Boone, 0 for SoHo, and 2 no votes. Thanks to everyone for the quick response. We will blast at safe light and fish until 4:00pm. All participants must have fished 5 TNBF tournaments or fished 4 and buy-in one tournament. Below is the list of who we have listed as qualified. 2. There are still quite a few anglers who still have the opportunity to make the classic line up by fishing the Black Friday Tournament or buying in one tournament. Those of you that have only fished 3 this year can still fish the Black Friday and buy in one tournament to fish the classic. Here is the list. If you think I have made a mistake and left you off please let me know. 3. After a slight miscalculation in my wake up time (well OK I over slept). I arrived to find everyone there and signed up thanks to TNSmallmouth and HDHoppy. From the ramp we couldnt even see the boat dock at Fall Creek. To say it was foggy is a great understatement. We all circled up around the "No Wake" buoy and waited on it to lift. It finally eased up enough around 9 or so that we were able to get underway. Most found the fish would bite but finding quality fish or even keepers was a tough task. here is the run down. 1. 5. No age limit. I think I am going to be fishing with my son as well.
  6. Don't forget TX#9 on Boone Saturday. It is our last night tournament of the year.

  7. This Saturday September 5th will be our last night tournament of the year. The temps for the weekend are supposed to start cooling which should make for a lot better fishing. We hope to have a good turnout for this one since it is the last night tournament on a lake with which most of us are familiar. Blast off will be promptly at 7 and the weigh-in at 3. Sign up will be closed at 6:45. Look for the white Toyota Tundra pulling a black and green Skeeter. I should be there around 5:15 to 5:30 to start sign ups and pulling chips. Let's try to make our last night tournament one of our biggest. I hope to see you all out there. and remember there are only three tournaments left this year so if you want to fish the classic there is still time even if you have only fished one so far. You are able to buy in one tournament which means you only need to fish 4 to be able to fish the classic. Thanks to everyone for supporting TNBassfishing and the tournament trail. 1. 8. Guys I am stuck in the traffic as well. I will be at the ramp as soon as possible. If you need anything my number is 4238171781
  9. Hey there is a wreck on 81 south at mile 16. Says will not be cleared until 6:15 on.

  10. Look for a black f350 pulling a maroon and grey skeeter for sign up. I should be there around 5:30
  11. Well guys after the break for the August heat, the water and the temps are dropping. Hopefully this will make for a great night bite. We will be blasting from the ramp at Dandrige at 7pm. We will stop taking money at 6:45. Please try to be there early enough to get everyone in the water so we can blast on time. I will be there to get you signed in I'm just not sure what vehicle I will be in yet. I will post Friday what vehicle and boat to look for to sign up. Please remember to sign up on this thread so we know to look for you. We would love to have all you guys come out and fish with us. It is usually entertaining before and after the tournaments with all the banter. Hope to see you Saturday. 1. MtCarmelBugMan 2.
  12. We had 11 boats show up for the festivities on SoHo. It seemed as though most of the excitement was isolated to the ramp. Between the benefit tournament and all the weekend boaters the ramp was full to say the least. The bite proved to be tough for most of us and at some points non-existant. We only had three limits weighed in with the winning bag being 10lb 15.6oz from MtCarmelVolBug and Alumacraft09. The big fish of the tournament was a healthy 5lb 3.1oz large mouth from RodKnocker and Triton 173. Here is the way the rest panned out. 1. MtCarmelVolBug & Alumacraft09..........5 fish..........10lbs 15.6oz 2. TNSmallmouth & HDHoppy.....................5 fish...........9lbs 0.1oz 3. Bronzebackhunter & WBC3....................DNW 8. TrackerTXW175 & Spinflip......................DNW 8. Vafis & Kjackson24224...........................DNW On a side note please be careful when you all are fishing at night and be very cautious of others while you are out there. About 12:30am a bass boat was coming out of Jacobs Creek flying and rear ended a pontoon. The boat left the scene without checking on the people in the pontoon at all. If you know of anyone that was fishing in a yellow and blue bass boat please let us know. These types of actions gives all bass fisherman a bad name. Luckily no one was injured but it could have been fatal. Please remember to wear your life jacket and kill switch when going down the lake. You can control your actions but not the actions of others. We hope to see all you guys out at the next one September 7 on Douglas lake.
  13. Our next tournament is fast approaching. It will be our second night tournament of the season. I hope to see you guys out there. We will be blasting from Ob Knob at 7:00pm. Please try to be signed up and in the water by 6:45 so we can blast on time. I will be handling the sign up so look for the white Tundra and the grey and orange Skeeter. 1. MtCarmelVolBug & Alumacraft09 2. trackertxw175 & spinflip 3. HDHOPPY & tnsmallmouth 4. Buckeye83 & Hatfield75 5. Rodknocker & triton173 6. Astro180 & JDV 7. 97astro 8. 14. Our first night tournament proved to be a little tough to find a good bite. Even though it was a nice night to fish the pleasure boaters were out in full force. We almost got ran over by a boat that finally slowed down then decided to go between us and the bank we were fishing. All in all it was a good night fishing with some great guys. Here is how it shook out. 1. TNsmallmouth & HDhoppy………………..5 fish...…….11lbs 1.5oz...…….4lb 2.7oz BF 2. MtCarmelVolBug & Alumacraft09......4 fish...……..8lbs 14.4oz 3. 15. Sorry for the delay in posting. This was an interesting blast off to say the least. Between all the different tournaments and the guys that crashed on the ramp and blocking 2 of the 3 lanes blast off was crazy. We only ended up with 6 boats but there were plenty of boats on the lake. here is the run down. 1. 294Stratos & TritonJoe……………………....5 fish...…….14lbs 7.3oz 2.
