  2. Our next tournament is on Ft. Pat blasting from the Warrior’s Path ramp on June 9. We will blast promptly at 7pm and weigh in at 2am. This will be the first night tournament of the year. It will probably be crowded at the ramp if the weather is favorable so plan to be there a little early. We will stop sign up at 6:45 in order to get everyone in the water from the tournament committee. We hope you guys can make it out to join us. It should be interesting. 1. 3. We had 15 boats show up for the tournament. The ramp was somewhat of a mess due to the other tournaments there as well but all participants were in the water and ready to blast right on time. We were able to blast promptly at 6:15 with out any problems so a big thank you goes out to everyone that fished. The take out however was a mad house. Not due to our guys but we managed to get it done. The fishing seemed to be decent with 10 limits weighed in but the big fish were pretty scarce for most. A big congratulations to RHB & 294Stratos who came in with an impressive 22lbs 11.5oz bag of fish and the big fish of the tournament with a 5lb 3.9oz largemouth. Here is a run down of the rest of the field. I included the big fish we weighed in as well just for the heck of it. 1. 6. First I would like to apologize for the delay in posting the results. It is totally my fault. I have gotten so used to Mountainman posting it that I neglected to remember to post it. We had a decent turn out at SoHo of 18 boats, however the ramp was a mad house with 3 other tournaments turning out as well. We only had 5 limits weighed in and several zero's. The wind played a pretty good factor from about 11:30 until weigh-in. Congratulations to Smalljaws & Jim Cudle for the winning bag with a weight of 15lbs 7.2oz and RLBTheman with a 3lb 13.3oz big fish. Below is the complete run down. 1. Gloves

BulletDuece introduced me to a trick some time back because I hate gloves when I am fishing also. A good set of latex or nitrile gloves from autozone will do you wonders. No matter how cold it is outside that is all I wear now. I keep some in the glove box of my boat all winter. take multiple pairs because they will rip on you during the day but it helps a lot just to keep your hands dry. I still keep hot hands in my pockets to warm up from time to time and a set of leather insulated work gloves to drive from spot to spot.
  9. Rain, rain and more rain.........that was pretty much the weather the entire day. At times the wind and rain were pretty bad however we still had 11 boats show up to fish. Kuddos to all the guys for showing up early and getting in the water and ready to blast. We actually had time to have a little pre-blast chat on the water. We had 4 limits weighed in with one impressive sack of fish on a tough day from MadVolsFan. Here is the rundown. 1. 11. Sorry for the late post fellas but work has had me a little side tracked. We ended up having 8 boats show up for the tournament. There was also a benefit tournament and another club tournament going out of the same ramp so it was still pretty crowded. Out of the 8 boats only 2 weighed in limits and only 5 boats brought fish to the scales. Here is the run down: 1. Watauga Results

We had a pretty good night to fish our last night tournament of the year. When we arrived the wind was blowing and a light rain was falling but all in all it wasn't too bad. We ended having 12 boats to show up. We blasted off and it was evident the wind would be a big factor. only 8 boats weighed in fish and only 4 had a limit. The conditions were tough but the winners found some absolute monsters lurking in Watauga. The results are as follows: 1. Juicejumper74 & Joey Soloman(g)..............5 fish.....24.85.....6.42BF 2. 14. We had 14 boats to show up for the tournament and I would like to say thanks to all that fished for arriving and signing up in plenty of time for us to get the live wells checked and launched so we could blast on time. It seemed to be a tough night for most of us with only 9 boats weighing in and only 1 limit. The results are as follows: 1. Blacklight's

Listen closely to this guy. He has vast experience with wires running all over the boat. Oh and go with a full moon. I have 2 and love them.
