  1. And the hits just keep comin' MAGA2020!

It'll be as entertaining watching/listening to the democrats pouring over the Mueller info in the coming weeks.  There'll be spin after spin and the same result will come forward - just isn't any there there.  Even Pelosi said it was time to move on, probably the smartest thing she's ever said.

The economy is rocking (still), there's movement on border security, and some progress on things in Asia.  Not a bad platform to run on for re-election.  Only thing missing is healthcare - I, for one, believe we oughta have something in place but I'm not smart enuff to suggest what it might be.  If the administration can come up w/ something smart they're locked in.

  2. Way to freaking go Ott!!! Heckuva well deserved win at the Bassmaster Classic

Thrilled to see him win this.  Can't think of a more deserving person.  He will do some great things w/ this.

Geez.  Charles Darwin was right.  Well, sort of.  The strongest are supposed to survive.  He never said anything about the stupidest.  Another theory debunked and another dummazz eliminated from the shallow end of the gene pool.  Next . . .

Heck, if you have a 6" rut in your front yard float the dang boat right there.  Got power poles?  ;)

  6. How many of y'all get into dry spells and feels like you are chasing ghosts when fishing?  Idk what I'm doing wrong but it hits me every year around this time.  Sometimes go out and whack em sometimes lucky to get a bite.

These are the kind of outings that can teach you the most, Wes.  When I'm not feeling the love on the bite I switch to scanning and scouting, trying to understand why.  Have learned much about fish movements during winter/early spring this way.  You'd think I'd just leave my rods at home but no . . .

One thing that would've made the weekend better  - FAU losing to AFA.  The cadets kept it close, maybe too close.

I'm also partial to a good Irish (never developed a taste for Scotch).  I'll have some samples with me when I'm down next month.

So, I see you like cigars and bourbon.  We def need to link up.  Rocky Patel and corn go very nicely together.

Land Big Fish has them now.  Little better selection of colors than other outlets.  Oddly, nothing on TW about them yet.

So, I ordered a couple of these.  I'm a big fan of the SK squarebill baits.  Something that behaves like a squarebill and goes deeper can only be good.  Same SK finishes, hooks.  Bill is an extended version of what you usually see on a 1.5.  Can't wait to throw them.  Should be killer on steeper banks, bluffs, rocks, and brush piles.

Oh, yeah.  Ol' Airborne's music collection is of the eclectic variety.  McMurty, REK, Lyle Lovett, all them off-the-beaten-path story-tellers.

  21. this is the sentence that never ends yes it goes on and on my friends somebody started typing it not knowing what it was and theyll continue typing it forever just because this is the sentence that never ends.......punctuation folks, punctuation. Helps distinguish a sentence, paragraph, or story, from gibberish, and keeps me from popping Advil all day.

Fortunately I don't work with anyone who writes like this but there is a buttload (official military logistics term for a lot) of people who talk like this.  On and on and on . . .  I run out of ears before they run out of mouth.  I once told a dood to stop and take a breath.  I was afraid he'd turn blue and pass out.  He didn't get it.  He prob never will.

LMAO!  So, yesterday AM it was 65* when I went outside (about 0600).  Today it was 41*.  The 15 kt wind made it feel like 31*.  And we wonder why we get sick this time of year . . .

Don't like the weather?  Wait 5 mins.

Airborne still has his 100 mph suit on board.

  24. Just read an interesting comment from a woman in Florida who asks why the 2nd Amendment hasn't been repealed in light of recent mass killings.  Guns, in her mind, are causing all of these tragedies.  Eliminate the guns and you eliminate the problem.  She didn't mention anything about knives, explosive booby traps, landmines, or poisons . . .

I wonder if she'll do the natural follow-up and demand cars be declared illegal.  After all, drunk and inattentive drivers kill more people than shooters do.  We should hold car manufacturers accountable for their blatant disregard for human life.  And what about alcohol?  It was outlawed once, you know.  Why isn't alcohol being declared illegal again in light of so many people dying of addiction related conditions?  Damn booze makers - we should jail them all.  It's their fault.

And then there are the drug makers.  Drugs are already illegal (for the most part) yet we don't go after drug makers like the public is going after gun manufacturers right now.  It is, after all, their fault people are becoming addicted.  The doctors who prescribe them are complicit, too.  So are the nurses, PAs, and rehab staff.  Jail all of them while we're at it.

Franklin Graham - Billy's son - had an interesting comment on this horrific event.  His observation was nowhere in the discussion is the role of evil thought or impetus.  While we charge off into the sunset looking to blame someone or something for all of this needless suffering we run right past the cause of it all - Satan.  And while we scurry about dodging and attributing blame Satan just smiles.

Whopper - that was the central theme of Dr Graham's message - family.
