Dougs stick baits

Recommended Posts

I have a nice assortment of doug's stick baits - caught many fish on them.

They work awesome. Only thing is they float so well, that going weightless usually means a weighted hook, or nail head. Otherwise it takes forever for it to sink. LOL

Which drives fish crazy. I like the slow sink

I have so many he made me a while back I need to get on the water and use.

I have to admit....

I have only thrown a senko or stick bait a handful of times.

I prefer to fish them on a T-Rig with a 3/16th tungston bullet weight. Once it touches down I will lower the rod tip to give it just about 5 or so inches of slack and allow the bait to float up away from the weight. Then pull it back down and repeat that same process. It looks to a bass like it is something feeding against something on the bottom and bass can't resists an easy meal...........:21ltk5w:
