aereators

Snoot was right Darryl, time for my power nap. I've thought about adding them to my Traker as well but not figured out an easy way to do it so I haven't tried to add any yet either. I'd be very interested in hearing about someone that's added them myself so hopefully someone will come along and give us both some input soon. ;)

Bass Pro has one that is easy to install all you have to do is drill 2 small holes the size of the air line up next to the top of each live well and wire in a switch. I put one in my brother in laws boat and it took about a hour. It has air stones on the 2 lines and they set next to the bottom of the live wells you can mount the pump next to the battries and put a switch in the dash and wire it up. Tip you may have a acc switch that has nothing hooked to it and you can use it.Hope this helps

Have ya'll thought about a home made oxygenator? They are very simple to make and will cost you very little. I can get a list of supplies up if you'd like?

ROTFL..... An Alabama fan giving a Kentucky fan some knowlege. :potstir::poke: Don't know if Tracker could handle it. :moon:

I did the same thing on my Skeeter that worm did. I added Pro-Air from Bass Pro. Had recirculate with the boat but the Pro Air works alot better I think for keeping fish healthier. Sometimes in really hot weather I will turn on both but if I use Ice and Rejuvie Pro-Air does the job. JMHO

Sorry for the sidetrack I got on there. Now here is my real answer.I have the T&H Pro-Air on my boat and am a firm believer in this product. I use it in conjuction with the recirculating pump,I believe having flowing water is as important as oxygen rich water, and have never lost a fish in the well. I also keep a bag of ice on hand on hot days and some rejuvinate or similar products just to be safe. If you look at the "Oxygenator" it seems to be a pretty neat concept but just be aware you can not use any additives in the livewell except theirs. Most have salt in them and these turn toxic to the fish with this unit on. If you look at bass pro they have a recirculator for a cooler and the pro-air units. Your can actually build a recirculator youself out of PVC and a pump but I think that one would serve the purpose and it's not that expensive. Both of these units are easy to install and you will have the best of both worlds. JMHO

Here is the links to the Pro air and recirculator. Like I said you may want to build your own but this would be the simplest way.

JUst go to walmart & get a small bilge pump, some pvc pipe or plastic hose.put the pump in the bottom of the well & run the pipe up the side & along the top.drill holes in the pipe & cap the end & angle it so it sprays down into the well, it circulates the water & areates it at the same time. mine is hooked up to also drain the well while still in the water too.You could also run it along the bottom & put an air hose in the pipe to add oxygen to the water.
