softbaitmaker
Bet you thought I was going to talk about Float N Flies huh? Nope, Im talking bout Float-N- Flukes. It is a killer rig when you are fishing floating docks. To put rig together you put a bobber stopper on your line at what ever depth you want to suspend the fluke and add a slip float on the line. Then tie on a weighted hook just heavy enough to make a fluke sink but not pull the bobber beneath the surface. Cast it up beside a dock and allow the fluke to sink and stand the bobber up and just shake the rod top ever so often the make the fluke move slightly. This works really well on windy days when teh wind gives the bait it's action with waves. When the bobber goes bye bye you know what to do next. I have thought about trying it with other baits but haven't yet. Flukes work so well I never saw a need yet. Just thought I would offer that little technique along................ It was awesome!
