We had a pretty good turn out with 15 boats fishing. The weather was perfect for a night tx. For the first time I got to fish Douglas with out being caught in a thunderstorm with the wind gusting 60mph. The results are as follows:

1. Spookman & Brownbass 11.51lbs

2. Silverfox & R91 10.31lbs

3. BulletDeuce & Pops 9.57lbs

4. Alumacraft & Bronzebackhuntr 9.53lbs

5. Stratos 186 & Partner 8.53lbs

6. Flipperjig & Jake 7.14lbs

7. 97Astro & Johnathan 6.47lbs

8. Mtcarmeltriton20x & MWBrand 6.17lbs

Big Fish went to Spookman and Brownbass with a nice LM @ 3.95lbs

Silverfox and R91 had the only keeper SM that went 3.62

Congrats to the winners they had some really nice fish. Job well done fellas. We hope to see a few more out for the next one which will be on Boone September 29th. It will be a day tx which will be safe light(around 7am) till 3pm.

Thanks guys. It was a tough nite for sure. We didnt have a fish one at 11 pm. not even a non keeper. W e went shallow early hoping for a big topwater bite, but never got it. We had 6 keepers all nite, a few short lm & about 10 sm, with one being a nice 18". Like spookman said, crankin was the key, but the worm brought in the big fish & a good cull fish right at the boat ramp that got rid of a 12 incher for a 14 in lm. You know its been a tough nite on douglas when a 3.95 lm gets big fish in this group of tough fisherman.
