smalljaw
These jigs are 1/16oz minnow heads, the top is white with white hackle and silver flash for a tail and shiner chenille for the body. The bottom jig is dark watermelon with craft fur and green flash for the tail and olive cactus chenille for the body. The spinnerbait is a 3/8oz double willow model in a color that is called warmouth, I made it for a guy in Virginia and he paid me not to make it for anyone else so it must be a good color. softbaitmaker
I'm sure ya'll will get a chance to put an order in for a few but ya'll have to remember Dan is still recovering from a bout with Cancer so he is still moving kinda slow. Also you need to remember Dan pretty much is like me about baits. He custom builds baits to what anglers want. So ya'll need to begin thinking about some color and blade combinations you may want him to make for you........

Thank you Snoot!! It doesn't take to long depending on the color scheme, that one there took about 10 minutes or so and done completely with powder paint!! I use a Badger hobby sand blaster to spray powder, you can't get really good detail with it but you can blend colors really well and fading effects with mimic real baitfish. I always believed that crankbaits and stickbaits do well when detailed but baits like spinnerbaits really go to fast for the fish to key in on detail, but I do insist on eyes on my spinnerbaits. I did try airbrushing but it took me 30 minutes making fine lines and such and with the neuropathy in my hands it would be impossible but this works good, the bait looks ok and the finish last a good amount of time because I cure them and then seal it with Devcon 2 ton epoxy.
