BassinHomer
Hey guys wanted to place a review on here. I stopped by BPS yesterday and picked a one of their extreme reels, I got mine especially for cranking, its a 5:4:1 and so far it's a dream. It cast like a bullet, and the star drag has a "clicking" system istead of the straight tighting down which I really like, I havent caught anything on it yet so I don't know how it's gonna hold up fighting a fish but I absolutely this reel so far.It can even pitch my custom cranks and the shad body style I do weighs in a around 3/16 maybe a 1/4 and I've never had any real that could do that. I'm trying to think of a good use for my other baitcaster, I'm thinking of using it for a c-rig real but the only thing that concerns me is the low ratio, I'm afraid it might be hard reel the line up in time to get a good hookset, but what ever I throw on it needs to be hefty because this reel just doesn't do light baits well.Anyways Peace out. worm
I have 6 of them most 7.1to1 and I love them I have fished with them for 3 years now and the only thing that I don't like about them is the side plate is easy to come off if you are not careful. Good Fishing.
