bronzebackhuntr
If you can find them the xtools are great. But they don't make them anymore. So they're tough to come by.

smalljaw
I have one of the older Rapala Lock-n-weigh and that scale is accurate, I check it before all my trips with a certified 2lb and 5lb weight I got from my old job and it regusters the 5lb weight as 4lb 15oz, and if I move the weight a little to one side it reads 4lb 14oz, not too bad for a scale I got on sale for 20 bucks. solocam
I tell you what, the berkley scale at Walmart is a good buy. The batteries last me a good year and a half and I use them a lot. They are only off by less than an ounce per certified scale on 5 lbs. $20 at Walmart
Mountainman
I have the xtools scale and love it. I know some folks say they arent accurate, but ive tested mine with against certified scales and theyre always within an ounce. If you can find one and buy it, i would advise changing the battery right off the bat. Mine started acting up about 2 weeks after I bought it and I changed the battery on a whim and its been flawless ever since.....and thats been nearly 3 years ago.
