chevy101
what bait caster would you prefer for around the $100 range?
Stratos260
BPS Pro Qualifier is a really good reel in that price range. You can find the Okuma Cayenne on eBay right now for $88.99 new. They originally were priced at $150 but Okuma stopped making them so the leftover new reels are selling a lot cheaper now. I have two of them and they are great reels. smalljaw
A lot of guys dislike the Quantum brand but if you go to Tackle Warehouse and look under Quantum casting reels you'll see the old model Accurist for $79.99, the new one is $99.00 and just looks better but basically the same reel. I got one in 2005 to jig fish river smallies and it was used hard and only cleaned and lubed one time and it is still going strong. I think in the $100-$120 price range you would have a hard time beating it for performance and reliability.
