wormman
Just curious if you guys have ever tried to rig 2 flukes on 1 line before. If so how do you guys rig this up? I did it a few times down on cherokee while on vacation and landed multiple fish 2 to 3 times. I just tied a extra hook a few feet down on my extra line from the first knot. It worked good for the most part with the action. But i broke off the bottom fluke right at the top knot on the the other fluke when i got ahold of a hog. I love the technique though the 2 flukes seemed to always run at diffrent depths.
Guest
i like using a 3 way swivel when i throw it..one leader about 24" max and the other about 14" ..never doubled up any but i only tried on The Dead Sea....
Tracker1861
I prefer the use of single swivels when I hook mine up. The first swivel allowed to slide loosly on the main line with about a 24" leader and then the hook, and the second swivel tied about 12" from the second hook. Sorta like this:
MTBROWNING
I like the way that looks Dwayne.
lunkerhunter1982
I have thrown it a LOT when the bluebacks are spawning on blueback lakes, and it is absolutely lethal. I have experimented with about every way possible to rig it, and by far the best is the double swivel rig. Tie on a swivel, 10 or 12 inch lead, and hook. Thread it on the line. Then tie on another swivel, a bit longer leader, and the next fluke. The front fluke can go crazy, might be right up against the swivel, might be 4 feet up the line. It catches more fish and causes much fewer breakoffs IMO.
