bipr8
I live in NJ but visit the great state of TN every now and again to see relatives. Will be bringing the family down with the boat in a couple weeks. See you all on the water!

Tracker1861
Welcome aboard, glad you joined up. I had the opportunity to fish a few lakes in NJ a couple of years back. What part of Jersey are you from? I fished in south Jersey.

bipr8
Tracker1861- Where in SO. NJ did you fish? I am in Central NJ, right next door to Fort Dix and McGuire AFB. I have fished most of the "decent" lakes/ponds/mud puddles that NJ has to offer, but try to stay close to home. I've been as far north as Champlain (did very good) and as far south as Guntersville (did very bad) with few stops in the middle.
Tracker1861
Tracker1861- Where in SO. NJ did you fish? Parvin, Sunset, and Mary Elmer. All near to Bridgeton. Does any of those ring a bell to you? My favorite by far, which also was the smallest.....was Mary Elmer. There's some big fish in that little lake. bipr8
I've been to Parvin and Sunset and had so-so days there. They are a good 1 1/2 hour+ ride for me, so its kind of tough justifying that ride for a 75-100 acre pond. I have heard good things about Mary Elmer, but havent taken the drive. What is that like, 20 acres??? How did you stumble upon that one?

It is a really small lake that was very near to where my wife's Uncle lived so we visited that lake 2-3 times during the week that I was there. It's a flippin and pitchin paradise, you should really take the ride down there. There are some really nice bass in that lake.
