Trito186
any info on talon vs power pole
Mountainman
Im selling my power pole due to lack of use. IMO, if you live and fish most of the year in East Tn, either one is as useless as teats on a boar hog.

brownfish03
How deep will one of those things go and give you a solid hold at? I can think of a few times it would come in very handy...but, Im thinking my boat would be sitting in too deep of water to use it? Any ideas on depth? I think that they may make one that goes to 12 ft now
Mountainman
Standard is 8 ft, but you gotta be in a little less than 8 ft. They make a 10 footer and a 12 footer(i think) but the same thing applies. Usually, if I was in about 7 foot or less, it would work good. bassfishermen423
my only problem is on these is the weight you would think it weights alot
BulletDeuce
my only problem is on these is the weight you would think it weights alot According to the Specs from Power Pole, the entire system weighs around 30 Lbs. So your not talking about a whole lot of weight. But I have the same opinion as MM, they aren't gonna get much use fishing the lakes of East TN.
