smalljaw
Here are a couple of my new swim jigs, these are the california style with a heavier head and thicker skirt than the regular or northern style swim jig. I decided to do these as we have been doing really well so far with swim jigs, normally a spinnerbait is a better choice but with temperature swings of 25 to 40 degrees with the cold fronts coming through the fish have been hitting it a lot better than the spinnerbait. Anyway, the top one is golden perch and the bottom is shellcracker, the jigs are 3/8oz with a 3/0 EWG hook and a wire tied 40 strand silicone skirt. BTW, what you don't see in the pics is the bottom of both of these jigs is an orange belly, sorry about that.
