95Nitro
Anyone using them? I picked up (2) today while at Bass Pro to give them a shot. Curious to know what type of Rod/Reel your using for them..... I've heard the Reg. Cranking Sticks for normal size cranks cant really handle the drag that these 10XD's create. I have never cast one, or used one.... so I am asking for your setups, and what you heave them with. Thanks is Advance...... I've been MIA around here for a while..... do I need to go and submit another "new member" thread?
SilverFox
I use a 7'11 Shimano medium... The cheap Shimano... Claurus maybe? I wouldn't throw it on less than 14-15 pound test. It's the same rod I throw a 6XD on. It's not as bad as people say but you need the bigger line in my opinion.

95Nitro
Great... got two Lews 5.4 w/ 10lb Seguar..... guess I'll respool one with 15lb Seaguar and tie one on. Thanks for the info fella's
bronzebackhuntr
Yeah, I'd def use 5.4 or lower if possible. Throwing that thing on a 6+ ratio would break your wrist. I like to have an old 3 something ratio lews or curado to throw it on.
