Mountainman
I dont know how much those are, but being a motorcycle rider, Ive always had a full face helmet laying around to take with me to the lake in winter. Nice and toasty all round the head! BTW, little buddy, I got your face saver right here!!
Tracker1861
I keep mine in the boat year round, great in the winter and comes in awful handy when driving down the lake at night (bugs) or when it's raining. Love mine, you will too if you decide to get you one.

softbaitmaker
I have always worn a full motorcycle helmet with shield and a few years back I got a face Mask in a door prize drawing and I tried it out when it got cool and they work ok but like already mentioned by Andy. I like the helmet alot better so I sold the Save Face Mask for 25 bucks and wear a helmet if I even get to go when it;s cold.

MtCarmelBugMan
I have 3 Save Phace masks in my boat. I personally love them. I rode motorcycles for years also but would never wear a full face helmet on the water. My reason behind this is most of the time we use these is in a time of limited visability such as rain or when the weather is cold. During both of these times debris is not only harder to see but also more plentiful. If you think about it hitting something in the lake is the top cause of ejection forom the boat. Now here is my reasoning. The padding in a motor cycle helmet is very absorbant. The last thing I want is a helmet full of water when I am in the water while under distress from a boating accident. This does not happen whith the save phace mask. Not to mention it is a ton lighter and easier to store. It may only be a fear of mine but I had a friend of mine drown because of Insulated coveralls. He hit something in the water and was ejected. The guy that was fishing with him was able to grab the boat but Stacy wasn't. When he was found the coverall were around his ankles but he couldn't get them over his boots. I know some of you are thinking he must have been going to fast for the conditions or other error but he was in a mod v alluminum boat with a low hp motor. It was really just a freak accident. My theory is plan for the worst and hope for the best. Oh and by the way he had on a PFD but it wouldn't keep him above water once the coveralls saturated with water. if for some reason you are knocked out your head is going to sink like a rock even though your body is floating. Y will then have your head stuck in a fish bowl full of water.

lunkerhunter1982
My Save Phace is in the boat with me every time I go, and I drag it into other folks boats when I go with them to. Keeps the face chill off in the winter without the bulk of a helmet. Also awesome when it is pouring rain and your making a run. Nobody wants to look like a goober wearing a full helmet in the middle of a July rainstorm. . .unless your Andy.

brwnbass
I just use a pair of snow ski goggles with yellow tinted lenses. They work very good & you can wear them anytime & over a tobbogan or headsock if you want. Or for you gangsters like aaron, over your pantyhose or flat bill cap! JIGnJ()N
I've got one and Love it! Had it for a few years and it really is worth it's weight in gold in the winter when BF03's silver buddy bite is on! Heck, my boat don't do but about 38 mph but Rain Drops hurt even at that speed. softbaitmaker
Well, the days of my fishing in temps below mid to upper 50's are gone so I don't use the full helmets any longer. I wear goggles and deer hunting Camo mask when temps hit 50's. Getting old ain't easy but it does give you lots of time to remember the things you use to be able to do and fish you were able to catch back in your youth......
