IMHO, an Arkie head is hard to beat. My favorite sizes are 1/16th, 1/8th, 3/16th and even throw a 1/4 oz if its real windy. That Arkie head hair jig has won me a lot of money on the past! My colors are solid black, olive, dark brown and a light gray that have worked for me in the summer.

I'd have to say the round head, the reason being it is super versatile but so is the arky but I still say round just because there are so many different sizes available. I also like rocker style heads as well as wedge heads and football heads.....Man, I like'em all!!!! Round head would be what I would have if I could only have 1 type of head.

You'll like the bear hair Snoot, it doesn't flair at the ends like bucktail does. When I use bear hair I make 1/8oz football heads with a Mustad 32786 hook in the 1/0 size, it makes for a really buggy look and sometimes I even tie a rabbit strip tail and then tie the bear hair around it, very nice stuff but I don't get it too much.
