Bass Bum 1

Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Anglers,

I stumbled across this site and was pleased to find one that focuses on Tennessee bass fishing. I'm not a professional bass fisherman nor do I normally fish tournaments. I just fish!

At 61 I still continue to learn new things about bass fishing, and catching. We all know they are not the same, though I find pleasure in both. Sites like this one are important if the sport of bass fishing we all love is to continue. The young fishermen and women following those of us a little long in the tooth need informational sources from which to learn. There is no better "learning" than from the exchange of information based on actual experiences and supplemental research. And like I said, I continue to learn every day from other fishermen and sites like this one myself.

I fish Dale Hollow (where I keep my Triton at Willow Grove Marina) and Center Hill primarily as well as numerous Middle Tennessee streams and rivers. My favorite bass? Smallmouth, but I've never been unhappy catching largemouth and spots.

"Catch and Release" saves lives.

Welcome to the site. Glad you found us. I fish Middle Tennessee lakes also. Basically Old Hickory and J. Percy Priest. Have been on the hill several times but have never had the pleasure of fishing Dale Hollow. Like you I'm 62 and use to fish all over but stay pretty much close to home now. If you ever get down near Gallatin give me a holler and we can have coffee.

I'm softy
