Mountainman
Please read the following very carefully as there have been changes made to the river rat tx. Due to the influx of rain water and generation schedules, the majority of you voted to relocate the River Rat Tourney. The tournament committee has decided on moving it to Steele Creek Park Lake in Bristol. Please note that they DO NOT allow gasoline powered motors to be operated on this lake......you can use a boat with a motor on it, you just cant operate the motor. Originally, this was planned as a man-powered or electric motor only tournament for canoes, kayaks, wading and bank fishermen. Due to the move to a deeper "lake", we are going to allow any type of boat into the tournament, but keep in mind that no gas powered motors can be operated on this lake. This is still a CPR(Catch, Photo, Release) event. At registration on saturday morning, you will be issued a numbered poker chip that MUST be clearly visible in the picture of your fish on a golden rule or hawg trough. The best combined length of 2 fish will win, and only largemouth & smallmouth bass are acceptable catches. Since the park doesnt open til daylight, we will start registration at 7am and you can begin fishing as soon as youre registered....no blast off, etc. Since there will not be any travel time necessary, we will have the "weigh-in" at the ramp at 3pm. Hope to see a good crowd at Steele Creek on Saturday! 1. Brokebackhumpr 2. BulletDeuce

JoeP
Bump, just me and BulletDeuce? Come on guys, there was so much excitement about this before. That was before it was moved to the cesspool known as Steeles Creek.....
Mountainman
That was before it was moved to the cesspool known as Steeles Creek..... 8 of 10 people who voted wanted the tx moved. Opinions were asked for and the only nomination was Steeles Creek. If yall have any better plans, the tx committee is open to hear them. These tx's...all of them.... are for you guys, our members. TNBF doesnt make any money off them, or off you all. Every penny gets paid back in tx winnings or at the classic in door prizes, trophies, etc. If yall dont want to fish this river rat tx, its not a big deal to cancel it. The tx committee is just trying to make this as good as it can for the benefit of you guys.

Mountainman
Due to lack of interest in the River Rat Tourney, it is cancelled. In its place, we will be having a rodeo style bass tournament on Ft Pat out of Warriors Path from safe light til 2pm. If youre interested, please see the the sign up sheet on the newest Aug 3rd topic. We are hoping that next year we can better coordinate a true river rat tournament. Thanks guys!
