SF Big Dog's New Ride

Chine walk is something every Triton owner has to live with and just learn how to drive through them. I have not seen a Triton that didn't have that problem and I have talked to alot of owners of them. All they will say is you need to stay on your toes and drive these boat every second or they will get away from you. Just things I heard......:blink:

The one my buddie Travis had did it at about 60mph.

They all do it. It just depends on the boat as to what speed it begins but I have not met one Triton Owner that says his boat does not Chine walk everytime they reach a certain speed. What I cannot believe is that when the first Tritons that came out had the problem why Earl Benz didn't jump up and make the necessary changes in the hull design to correct it but he didn't. Maybe now that it is owned by a new company they will fix the issue. Well, maybe not because from what I hear Earl went with the new company that bought Triton so they might not ever fix it.

I have had a few Skeeters with the big HP motors Walk but I also had Hydraulic Jack Plate to get rid of mine and before I had the hydraulic plates I would do a lot of Propping, cupping and motor adjusting and tweeking to get rid of it but I was always able to clear mine up. Now I don't have to worry about it cause I'm out of Horse Power and drive much slower like snoot said....:lol::lol:
