make batterys last longer

i've never heard of it. from what i read on the website it is supposed to work by removing deposits that build up on the plates. i had been in the auto parts business for over 20 years until 3 years ago and know that some of the plates in newer marine applications had a membrane over the plates that automotive batteries did not have. in theory they were to cut down on deposits and also offer additional support to the plate to help with the pounding over the waves like a marine battery would be subjected to. so i don't know how this stuff would work through the membrane. on paper it sounds like it would. although if it removes deposits in each cell, the deposits are generally conductive and if loose would be heavy and settle to the bottom of each cell eventually touching plate to plate killing voltage. i also noticed their warranty is for new batteries.don't know what they would allow on an old battery. just my 2 cents woth.

one would not come up to volt level. this stuf is to make them last up to 6 years

I never add water to mine. I add acid back into them if they get low and they last 5 to 6 years and battery acid is only about 11 bucks a gallon. I use a battery bottle you buy at parts house and it stops when cell in full. Makes it alot easier to full the cells without spilling it every where.

my :2cents: worth.
