First buck

Thanks guys. I cut my last one up in chunks so I could grind the meat and make jerky but the guy that was going to let me use his grinder can't find the parts. So I'm going to slice this one. I'm ready for some good jerky.


Its been my experience that sliced meat makes the BEST jerky. I usually use the burger jerky gun because its quicker and easier with my limited time, but there is NOTHING like properly sliced meat, soaked in beer, liquid smoke and spices then dehydrated just long enough to make it chewy after about the first minute or so in your mouth!
