I am going ahead & putting up info for the Second Annual TNBF Prop Day. It will be on 2-8-14 on Cherokee Lake at Boat Launch road-right across from Hamblen County Boat Dock-To get there turn between Morristown Marine & Weigels-Follow the road about 1.25 Miles & you will see the road on the left. Turn left onto Boat Launch road & follow it to the ramp. Last year went great with everyone learning a few new props that would work well on their boat, and also properly adjusting your jackplate. Most of us will show up around 9 or 10 because of the cool temps. This is all subject to change if the weather looks nasty, so please keep checking back for updates. Also, if you plan on attending-please post with what brand, model boat you have-as well as the motor & what props you intend on bringing

Also, some folks who might be on the fence about which GPS/Fishfinder will suit their needs. There should be some guys with Hummingbirds & several with Lowrance HDS /Elite Units who will demo them. If you are also interested in checking out a particular brand of boat-there should be several too choose from.

  • 2 weeks later...

As of right now, weather forecasters are calling for 60%+/- chance of a snow to rain to snow precipitation for tomorrow until after noon. Either rain or snow will not be fun to be running boats at WOT up & down a rough lake. Add to this the fact that it may snow a few inches, as it did a couple saturdays ago, we are going to postpone Prop Day to a later date. Honestly, it will be tought to reschedule this and not interfere with tourneys, but we are going to try to hit a weekend in the coming weeks between now & the Classic. Hopefully mother nature will cooperate. Thanks!
