Classic Sign Up

Recommended Posts

Fellas It is that time of year again and time to sign up for the classic. remember both anglers must be qualified to fish the classic. You can check the qualifiers thread to verified that you are eligible or able to buy in. If you are planning on fishing you will need to sign up so that we can verify the participant list. If you have any questions about the qualifiers list please PM me. If you are looking for a partner you can post on here and find one of the other qualifiers that may not have a partner already. Thanks for all your support this year and we hope to see you out there this year.

If your name is in green you are qualified and have fished enough tournaments to fish for the regular entry fee of $40 per boat. If your name is orange you will have to buy in one tournament. This will cost $20 per person having to buy in. If only one of you has to buy in the entry will be $60 and if both have to buy in the entry will be $80. I hope I have explained this well enough but if you have any questions please PM me.

**Also, starting order will be determined by how you finished in the Points for 2013. If you are fishing 2 per boat, you will use the highest of the 2 to determine your starting position & will be handed an index card at sign-up.**

After all the time Shannon put into this and he can't fish it . I would be up to voteing to move it up one week (even if it knocked me out of fishing it) just so a man that put so much time into it to make it happen can fish . I hope people will consider moving it up a week since it's still a month out . I'm off my soap box now .

I'm ok with moving it 100%. But do it in Feb. Morristown marine 10,000 to win mar. 1st. And the Tom's trail mar 15th. Just don't have it then. Please! Already got to much money involved in those but I want Shannon to fish. No reason it can't be moved

Listen guys I am not asking for it to be moved. I am OK with missing it. Would I like to fish Yes but with what Luke said it looks like the weekend before and the weekend after are already booked with other tournaments. I know it can't be on Cherokee this year so those won't affect the lake that is chosen but I want the guys that have qualified to be able to fish. It looks like Luke will be fishing on those weekends and I would rather everybody else get to fish than me. I appreciate it but with my schedule the weekends I get are very limited. I didn't notice it had been set on the weekend I am gone till last night. I would just skip doing the sound for this event but it is one that pays well and right now I have to work when I get a chance. Work is slow for us to say the least and if I ever turn it down once I will never be asked to do it again.

Mountainman & Stratos20 will be in for a donation.

Let me clarify something. Our site Classic will be on March 8th on a lake to be determined. I applaud the idea that you guys want to include Shannon and totally agree with it, no one among us is more deserving to be in the Classic and no one among us is more deserving of a Classic win. However, meaning no disrespect to Shannon, by moving the date to include him, we will exclude some other members who have qualified to fish the Classic. Some of whom have taken vacation from work and changed family plans around the date that was set in December. Agree with it or not, the decision to reschedule the Classic 2 years ago was made and it was a huge mistake. It should not have been done then and I dont feel like it should be done this time either. The only reason the dates for the Classic, or any of our other tourneys, will change is due to severe inclement weather as we had last weekend.
