Tube Hooks

Hey guys and gals just wondering what your favorite hooks were for t-rigging and jig fishing flipping tubes, I need something that will easliy penetrate the tube and the fish and was just wondering what rigs you all found best.

seldom ever fish a tube. when i do i use a weighted tube hook, eyelet angles up from front of weight.

I use a tube jig that goes inside from bps with the angled eyelet, or if its teaxas rigged a wide gap gammy, with the tip bent out so it lays flat. Then just skin hook it to make it weedless. Oh yea, & i use those parasite clips to keep them up on the hook.

i fish bitsi tubes with just a regular 3/16 jig hook with weed guard that ya can buy at watsons. point the guard up and insert in tube till it pops out where ya want it then pop the eye out and the hook is almost perfect at the bottom and just bend the weed guard back down

wide gap gamagatsu. i like yums tube. i use a 3/8 tungsten flippin weight. internal tube weights are good to. I insert the weight about half way through the tube then t-rig it. I use the internal weight if i am skipping the tube under docks or trees and usually throw it on a spinning rod. I use the tungsten weight when im pitching with a baitcaster.

thanks guys, I tried rigging with a gammy but the tube was just balling up with no hookset

Those parasite clips help with that on worms, tubes or any other soft plastics. You put them on the line between the hook & sinker & run the hook thru it. keeps bait from sliding down the hook. works great on flukes too.

Guys i have uses ever hook that has been made

for tubes cause i fish them more than anything

eals Bobby Garland made the first ever tub hook

it is a flat sided head but if you want a perfect

tube hook getem from Snoot i found out his shaky

head hook with out the worm clip is the most

perfect tube hook they is an people i pour

all kinds if heads but Snoots is the best

an he will put a wire Gard on or not witch ever\

you prefer so give him a hallor an he will fix you

right up.
