Tracker1861
Argggghh. You picked the one weekend - BAIT same day, dood. It's the TN Bait, they are going out of the dam and they usually have less than 50 boats fish thier tourneys. It's the VA Bait that you really have to watch out for. You in on this one B? Should be plenty of room there though. 25E is a monstrous ramp!

We are making them choose between ours & a bigger money tx.

We are making them choose between ours & a bigger money tx. Well go look at the Tom's, Morristown Marine, Bait, and others.........find a weekend that one of them aren't having a tourney. It won't happen. There is going to be conflict ANY weekend you choose, you just have to pick your poision IMO.

softbaitmaker
Talk about bad timing on tournaments. About 5 years ago the Flippers Classic fell on october 11 & 12th and had 202 boats. We were going out of Bulls Creek. 5 miles down lake in Spencer Creek the PBF INC was having their classic 199 boats. 11 miles down lake SuperBass was having their Classic and had 385 boats. That was 786 boats in three Tx's alone not counting any wild cat and Club Tx's going out of other ramps and all of the tournaments were Fogged in. Flipper released us even though we still had serious fog. I went out and grabbed a bank about a mile down lake and tucked into it and was about 110 yards from main channel. I realized right quick I was not close enough to the bank when I had an idiot in a Bumble Bee run wide open between me and the bank and I was able to pitch to the bank. All I heard was OH NO!!! and then they hit the island in mouth of Peach Valley Creek and everything got quiet in the fog and then I heard one guy call out to the other asking if he was ok and the other guy said yea but the boats a mess. I turned and troll back up the bank about 10 yards and put my boat and butt in a small pocket about three times the size of my boat and sat down and drank about a whole thermos of coffee and smoked about 10 marlboro's and waited for the Fog to lift before I left the pocket to go fishing. I saw the two guys talking to a TWRA boat as I ease on out and went on down stream. There was boats everywhere you looked fishing. Believe me that was a weekend of very bad timing......... softbaitmaker
Well folks was talkin and complaining about putting Tx's out on days when other Tx's was going out and bad timing so I just thought I would tell folks what real bad timing is. Try putting out 789 tournament fishing boats on a lake in one day not counting weekend warriors and Clubs............

Jamie De Vera
i dunno how many boats the BAIT has but i was thinking a possible change of ramps but if there are only gonna be about 50 boats it'll be all good!! just gotta make sure all of us stay near each other come blast off!! Dewayne, Veeman and I will be teaming up and fishing!!!
Tracker1861
Bump! As of now we only have 3 boats committed to fishing this tourney. I am about to cancel it if there's not enough boats committed to fish it. If you plan on fishing this event please post it in the next couple of days, if not then I'm not sure it's worth it to fish it with only 3 boats.
