From what I can find out they are made by Danielson in Japan which also sells tons of other fishing products in many of the less costly less quality built lines. El Cheapo stuff. Wright/McGill markets them and are the same folks that market Eagle Claw products and cheap lead weights and other such products.:scratch:

we have had them at the store for about 1 month. sold several of them and what response i have heard has been positive. i havent fished with one , but for the price i think they feel pretty good. i will agree that they arent a revo. the revo lineup is in my opinion the best thing outthere.

Wright mcgill has came a long way since what they was. I mean look at the trokar hooks and lazer hooks they are great quaility. The reels are smooth for what they are. Of course they aint no revo but they are a good reel but thats my 2 cents.

IMO, using the hooks as an example is not exactly a ringing endorsement haha. In my experience, the Trokar's are obscenely overpriced and the points roll over the first time they touch a rock or anything else hard, and the Lazers are bad to break. The Trokars might cost $8 for a three pack, but they still aren't even in the same class as a Mustad or a good ol' Gammy, and not in the same universe as an Owner. As far as the reels, prolly about the same as other reels in the price class (Bass Pro brand reels, etc). Reels are an investment and a good one will provide years of service with proper care, and you won't cuss a good $150 reel (like a Curado or Revo) half as much as you will a $100 class reel.
