Nitro Z series boats

I used to work at a boat dock, I the very few I dealt with seem to be of fair to poor construction. Keep in mind that my experiences were close to 8 yrs ago, so they may have improved some. IMO, you get what you pay for 98% of the time. There are some better quality bargain boats out there, but I tell you this, if I could afford a new boat right now, Id have a Skeeter FX or i-class in my garage.

Heres a nice one for a good price

If your serious about looking at new Boats take a look at the Phoenix Line of boats and their Beeline Series also. If you decide you would like to look into those I might be able to help you out on getting a good deal on one. There is a link to Phoenix on my website. There is also Phoenix Bonus money out there in most larger tournaments. I don't know if Nitro offers bonus money pay outs or not. Just food for thought.

Ok since were talking about REAL Boats here you go.

BEST dang BOAT OUT THERE

:lol: I don't think anyone doubts that Ranger is the toughest boat made for sure. It is also probably the most expensive also. Even used Ranger owners that are selling their Rangers want new boat price for them because of their reputation but I think the issue was not the quality of the boat but more the affordability which Rangers seldom are that.....:blink:

I have spent some time in a few of the Phoenix boats and they are very similar to the rides of a 200 or 201 Stratos but that would be expected since before opening up Phoenix Gary was the head guy at Stratos for 5 years. It is the options in the fisher friendly ability that makes a Phoenix so unique. Many of the Phoenix options have been put into their Beeline series also. Just my :2cents: worth on them. I own a Skeeter and am totally happy with it but if I were looking at a new affordable boat it would probably be a Bee Line.

Im sorry, Jeff.....did you say sumthin? Bout like a chebby :potstir::poke:

 Blah Blah Blah Did you say sumthin Andy? :moon::P

Bout like a Chevy you got that right. There ain't nothing better than a Chevy or a Ranger.

As for the affordability of the Nitro I'm sure the price of a new Nitro would be cheaper than a Ranger but I'm a firm believer in you pay for what you get. :headbang:

Everybody is gonna have something different to say....

All the main brands have their pro's and con's....it[s all about what YOU want and what YOU can afford

I don't see a thing wrong with the Nitro Z-9, the Ranger 522, the Skeeter I-Class, etc....they are all good boats, or they wouldn't still be in production in the economic times we have been in.

If I was gonna buy a new one, I would take a long hard look at the Phoenix

Dollar for dollar they beat the pants off of the other brands when you talk about "bang for your buck"

or you could get a 1992 Ranger for about the same pricepoke.giflaugh.gif
