softbaitmaker
Call it what you may and they may call this new 2011 a Stratos but anyone that can spot a Champion boat should recognize this boat. http://www.stratosboats.com/eliteSeries.cfm

Jon
The only thing Stratos about those boats are the stickers. I've drove and fished out of both in several models. They are nothing alike! I'm glad they're still around, because there's not anything that rides like a Champ and hopefully they'll put their own labels back on them soon. Most probably didn't notice, but Skeet and some others wouldn't stop using their old Champs until they started producing this line. Not tooting his horn, but Skeet could have had any boat sponsor he wanted and he chose to run his without the check.. Love the Arrow!

vol-fisher
Except for a few new bells and whistles that is Champion boat wearing a Stratos label......... Quite an improvement for Stratos huh?..... I don't see it as an improvement to Stratos, it was good for the champion boat followers that they did keep the main three hulls that sold best and were just rebranded as "Stratos Elite Series". The folks that buy that boat are going to be the prior Champion boat owners mainly. They have a different look about them from the front end, either you like that or don't. Here is the real flagship for stratos, the 201 Evolution. My buddy bought one this summer and it is something else. These boats loaded are low 80's, not bad for a 21 foot boat. The list is about 20K lower than a new FX Skeeter too, although we cant go by sticker book anymore for sure. The best value of boats in the 19-20 foot range now is the Stratos 294 with a 200HP motor. They can be had for under 30K now with a sticker of about 33K, not that is a steal, but it is lower than all the rest and is a mid 70's boat all day long and is fun to drive. I have a buddy B.T. and he has a 2003 200 Stratos and a 225 Bombardier on the back and he said he would not trade his boat for a new one even if they gave him a rock bottom dollar deal. He loves his boat.
