Dropped the boat in about 6:45am. Ran to the spill way. Found water temps at 70. started tossing a frog on the mats. Never got a sniff. I figured we would at least get 1 or 2 to blow up but nothing. Started tossing a spinner bait and put the first fish in the boat. We continued to mix it up between a frog and a spinner bait but never got a another bite. About 930 decided to try something else so went up and tossed a wacky rig around some of the lumber yards. Nothing. Moved further up the river to a little deeper water and started flipping. Finally caught or second and 3rd fish pretty quick. We finished up with 5 lm and one mean smallie. Biggest went 2 1/4lb. We pulled out at 1130. Caught them in 7' to 13' of water in the tips of the dead fall. Fun short trip.
