Jbrown
I have found a crank bait to work decent but have marked schools and never got a bite or you 3-4 and then nothing and you still looking at the school on your graph how do you get them fired back up
rusty50576
Tough question, maybe back off and shut off the sonar, make some long casts?
Jamie De Vera
Try a different lure. If your crank has rattles, try a silent version. If that doesn't work, try a swimbait. Show them something different until you catch one then go back to cranking.
Peck
Sometimes releasing fish back will shut them off too.
Jbrown
Thanks I was playing around sat and marked a large school suspended under bait .caught three very quickly had heard that they would shut off if I threw one back so I put them in the box .after the third I lost one and they shut down.could not get them to bite again even left and came back a hour later.threw everything including the kitchen sink at them .they were not biteing I was just curious if there was a trick I didn’t know.
