If I was in the market for a great new boat I would head on up to Morristown Marine and park my butt in a new Skeeter. It won't make a difference what kind of truck you drive it will look a lot better with a Skeeter behind it on the way to the lake......JMHO

You mean Morristown RV? They have more campers now than boats...

consider preowned.. save thousands.. Maybe a Triton 20TRX Elite :)

Well I don't know personally what their inventory is. I just know I'm a Skeeter person and I thought Andy and his wife bought a Skeeter boat dealership so just trying to steer folks in his direction.

Thanks for the input of the camper inventory and maybe I need to begin sending folks looking for a camper to them too.

You go Softy

N&N I really hope you weren't knocking Morristown Marine, if Andy wants to sell RV's to make money so be it

Thanks Whopper!!! I know several boat dealers that have other lines of products they sell to help their bottom lines at the end of the year. S & R Marine in Cookville is a Triton dealer but they also sell ATVs and have both in their showroom so I don't see any problem with Andy having a second line of products to sell. Wish him all the luck in thw world in his new business!!!

I’d be selling campers too. They’ve became a hot commodity, lately. As far as their boat inventory, they’ve got an awesome selection, and whatever they don’t have, they can get quick. Plus the best shop in the whole daggum area, IMO. Hopefully soon they’ll get a tin boat lineup going. Back to the original post- I’ve seen a bunch of the RT198’s, and everyone that’s had one gives em high marks. Quality construction, like their glass boats, and a great layout. I’d be torn between them and Vexus for a tin, with a slight nod to Vexus just on design and layout. Can’t go wrong with either.

While we are on the subject of Morristown Marine, shout out to those boys for tuning my ole Stratos up quickly, and affordably. They always took great care of my old Astro, and I can’t recommend a better shop anywhere, for good work and customer service. Hopefully soon they get some tackle sales going- then it’ll be my second home 😁 (what little I’m ever home)

Check the inventory. Got 12 campers & close to 30 boats now. Not everything is listed on the website yet

But to answer the original post, the RT series Rangers are solid boats. You can't go wrong with one.

You're in the center of A LOT of campgrounds. I'd guess that is a good market for your location. Boats or campers, carry what people buy and don't look back.

Okay folks.. I wasn't knocking anyone.. I just drive by there a few times a week and noticed a lot of RVs since I read it was under new ownership. Last week when I went past I spotted a lot of pontoon boats as well. There was also some bass boats on the lot now, I have no idea what is on the inside.  I just remember when I use to go by there was a bunch of bass boats around the lot.
There is nothing wrong with deversification.  And Skeeter makes a beautiful boat.
All makes sense in the big picture. Open up inventory to pander to the massess. Fishing market is finite but the recreational / fishing market is huge. Besides don't everyone need a camper to take to the lake for a week of bass fishing :D
