We had 11 boats show up for the festivities on SoHo. It seemed as though most of the excitement was isolated to the ramp. Between the benefit tournament and all the weekend boaters the ramp was full to say the least. The bite proved to be tough for most of us and at some points non-existant. We only had three limits weighed in with the winning bag being 10lb 15.6oz from MtCarmelVolBug and Alumacraft09. The big fish of the tournament was a healthy 5lb 3.1oz large mouth from RodKnocker and Triton 173. Here is the way the rest panned out.

1.   MtCarmelVolBug & Alumacraft09..........5 fish..........10lbs 15.6oz

2.   TNSmallmouth & HDHoppy.....................5 fish...........9lbs  0.1oz

3.   Catchemall & Smalljaws..........................5 fish...........8lbs 5.9oz

4.   Rodknocker & Triton173..........................2 fish...........7lbs 7.8oz.....5lb 3.1oz BF

5.   BulletDeuce & PromaX............................3 fish...........6 lbs 7.9oz

6.   Buckeye73 & Hatfield75..........................2 fish...........3lbs 5.3oz

7.   Astro180 & JDV........................................1 fish............2lbs 0.0oz

8.   97Astro....................................................DNW

8.   Bronzebackhunter & WBC3....................DNW

8.   TrackerTXW175 & Spinflip......................DNW

8.   Vafis & Kjackson24224...........................DNW

On a side note please be careful when you all are fishing at night and be very cautious of others while you are out there. About 12:30am a bass boat was coming out of Jacobs Creek flying and rear ended a pontoon. The boat left the scene without checking on the people in the pontoon at all. If you know of anyone that was fishing in a yellow and blue bass boat please let us know. These types of actions gives all bass fisherman a bad name. Luckily no one was injured but it could have been fatal. Please remember to wear your life jacket and kill switch when going down the lake. You can control your actions but not the actions of others.

We hope to see all you guys out at the next one September 7 on Douglas lake.

Congrats on the win. We found a good bite before dark, but only could boat short fish. We fished the right point going into Jacob's about 10:45-12:20. Just before we left there, two boats ran by us WOT. One had no lights on when it passed us.

We also gave a guy a ride back to his boat that came untied at the dock just before we left.
