Stratos260
I was wondering if any of you use frog baits around here or if they are mainly just for lakes with lily pads and weeds. I've never fished with them but I am curious if any of you use them and if they're effective here.
bronzebackhuntr
I like throwing a frog into the slop that blows back in the pockets and don't ever rule them out around laydown trees and docks either. Caught some fish in open water on them too.

nitro175
I use them back in the trees and brush when the lake gets full. I watched the PAA show that was covering the tourney on cherokee and the majority of them were fishing with frogs. I found out that they would bite them one day just goofing around. My wife and I were fishing and I thought I would try one of these crazy frogs and low and behold i got train wrecked on the first cast and I caught a bunch on them for about a week. Wiseguy909
I really like the distinct sound the Zoom Horny Toad makes when it comes through the water. It seems to really turn the fish on.
brwnbass
+1 ON THE Zoom horny toad.. I like to throw it around flooded anything, buck brush, trees & bluff points. Throw it on the bank & in the trash & buzz it out. I also have a modified version i have been using some, after i slung the legs off 1 of them. Am about to do another 1 in a different style too.
