SJK
Bandit and I caught a lot of fish but couldn't get a big bite.....we lost a couple good fish, but for the most part couldn't get past the 12 inchers. Spent over an hour in a boat slip waiting on the slowest moving storm in the history of the world....

Spent over an hour in a boat slip waiting on the slowest moving storm in the history of the world.... +10 on the storm. We sat for 2 hours in a boat slip. We had an awesome day, had 5 keepers before dark.SPOOKMAN caught 2 keeper smallie on one cast with a crankbait, craziest chit ive ever seen, 2 casts later i got a 5+lber & then another 4lber in about 10min. We had the 5 dead fish we brought in to show off by 9:15 pm. Caught a few more after dark, including 2 hybrids that went prob 6-7lbs each. We had 7 keepers overall & caught prob 25 fish. Congrats to postal & pitchin pigs, good job guys.

Wiseguy909
Brwn Bass I was thoroughly impressed with the sack of fish you and spookman had, I hate they died. Congrats to postalfish and pitchin pigs on the win. Im glad I got to meet some of you guys in person. We caught several short fish and just couldn't get on a big bite. I really like the way the tournaments are ran, everything went smooth . It was a good time spent with some good people.

brwnbass
congrats on the W guys!!! brwnbass, how in the heck did all five of your fish die??? Not sure. i guess they were just stressed out being in the well for that long. All but one made it till midnight, & it was hooked deep & wouldnt have lived no matter what we done. Only thing i can think is the water wasnt being drained & filled enuff with us sitting still for 2 hours during the storm, because thats when we started having problems. We had those fish by 9pm. SPOOKMAN
Guys, that was the awefulless mess of smallies that I ever seen. I cranked the whole night. If that storm wouldn't have it, I believe we could have still won. We were on some good fish! We caught 5 keeper smallies on one point. Brownbass had a good one on about 10 minutes before we had to leave. We fished three holes before dark and they had fish on them. We watched this boat fish a point before dark the whole time. They left when the storm hit. We came back out and fished it and caught one keeper and non keeper and then brown lost that good one. All in all, it was an awesome fishing night. Mountainman
congrats to the winners. Jeff and I had a decent night, with low numbers but good fish. I hate that we wasted alot of time on that stupid storm, but it looked plumb rough rollin up the lake.

softbaitmaker
Nice bunch of fish caught and congrads to the winners. I hope those dead fish went to the grease and made a fine fish dinners anyway. Thats what we do with dead fish down here. I don't understand why your sitting still that long should have allowed the fish to die. If you had the pumps on recirculating the water and had ice in livewells before starting with a little Reguvinate of C&R they should have done well........ Well a good fish fry is nice too.......... Guest
we do the same thing..if gut hooked or die for some other reason....they are released in the grease....no need in throwing them away......a waste of God's creatures if thrown away...
