Fishing Logs

I just wanted to thank you guys for putting me up to it. I've tinkered around through the years with keeping a fishing journal but never really kept up with it for more than a day or two but based on advice from you fellers, especially Tracker, I've been keeping a regular one since January this year and it might only be coincidence but I've noted a marked improvement over the past two years and I highly suggest for anyone who doesn't to start keeping one :thumbsup2: On second thought I might fish a Tx again one day, don't bother

Fishing logs are a necessity for anyone that really wants to make the most of time spent on the water and improve their catch ratio. ;)

 sum even spend more time in the bottom of the boat writting than catching....or trying to catch.....just a rooomer..

based on the amount of response to this thread I can tell everyone is of the same mindset I used to be, which is fine with me  Snoot sometimes you've got to be careful of logs in the bathtub!

We have a host of logs collected from the '70's, 80's, and 90's, mostly.

Any bids??? ;)

JUST KIDDING.

I (partially) made up a saying based on what we were hearing back in those early days:

Wind out of the east, fish bite the least.

Wind out of the west, fish bite the best.

Wind out of the south, fish open their mouth.

Wind out of the north, fish bite the worth.

I later learned all that was not necessarily true.
