tnpondmanager Posted July 12, 2011 Report Share Posted July 12, 2011 Hey all, nice to be a part of the site. I didn't even know this site existed until about ten minutes ago! I was doing a search for photos of big bluegill, the species I'm most obsessed with, and came across a post from last year about a big shellcracker caught out of Norris. I somehow missed the last few posts in which several people had echoed that the fish was a redear, so hopefully I don't look like too much of a rube for re-stating it yet again. I don't know if it's allowed to mention this, but I have a pond management business out of Columbia, pretty small at the moment but I'm growing some big fish. Two seven-pound largemouth have been caught from a lake in middle TN that I manage in the past three weeks - the owner says he's going to get me photos so hopefully I'll have them soon. If anybody ever needs anything for a pond from weed control to stocking to aeration to feeders, I'd be happy to help.
