Anywhere along a main lake, feeder creek or river arm channel where a gradually sloping bank drops off sheer for an amount and then resumes the gradual slope. Fish can stack up on certain places on ledges & it can be great one day, & gone the next. The best time to fish them is usually when water is being pulled thru a dam, creating current along the breaks or drops.
