Lure Dryer

Recommended Posts

Well I have procrastinated for over a year and a half now and I finally broke down and built my lure turner today. I still have to attach alligator clips and permanetly attach the wheel to the motor but you get the idea. If you click the one photo of the wheel it should upload a video. Stupid photobucket wouldn't let me load the photo of the front view minus the wheel. My only concern is the speed, it rotates a little faster than I thought it would but hopefully it'll work.

Looks alot better than mine! I think I have the most ghettofied lure turner in the world  I'll try to remember to take a pic and post. Good job BW and Snoot.

Not yet I'm about to try mine I think it may be a centerfuge instead of a turner lmoa

Thats cool. If you want to slow it down, just add a resistor on one leg of the rheostat :thumbsup2:

  That's what she said...Actually I think it'll be okay, I turned some lures with it today and it does act like a centerfuge but if I put the epoxy on in reverse from how I did it before it works out becuase by the time I'm finished coating the lure all the epoxy has flowed to the end of the lure and the wheel moves it back towards the rear, thus leveling it out :thumbsup2:
