AlexH
That commercial is filled with contradictions. Clear yet opaque...... Of course you cast further with a 3 lb diameter line compared to the same breaking strength as mono. All braids perform this way too. Monofiliment unifiliment, they are kinda synonyms. Don't fall for the hype.
NiceGuy
I havnt bought any yet but an interested in the color for what almost sound like silky braid.. I havnt seen braid in that color before..Id like to find something that performs like a braid that one wouldnt have to tie a leader to.....Too many knots for me... brwnbass
That stuff looks like a rope compared to floro. They cant make a braid that is clear. The other is if you fish ANY thin braid around rock, it gets frayed bad & will break easily. I'll stick with my sunline......

AlexH
Sunline has many differnt kinds of mono and fluoro depending on your needs.
brwnbass
Does the sunline have sensitivity like fluro??? Yes, sunline super mono is the shizznit. 12lb test is about 8lb mono ( stren, bps ect.) diameter. It has stretch like mono, but is alot more sensiitive & its clear like floro. You can throw cranks or jigs with the same line. The bad part is BPS is the only place i have found it so far. The best part is its $10 for a 300 yard spool, compared to $20+ for decent floro. I have been using it since last year & havnt had any problems with it. It gets a little kinked up, but nothing too bad. Works good on a spinning reel & cold weather too. chevy2junk
Don't knock it till you try it.I've tried a lot of braid and for spinning reels this stuff is hard to beat.8lb with or without a leader get awsome distance and sensitivity.I love flourocarbon but really enjoy useing Nanofil....Just my opinion. chevy2junk
I spooled 2 reels with 1 spool, not gonna complain.Sunline mono is great i agree but not as sensitive. You'll get better distance and castability with it due to its smaller diameter than most other brands [sunline].I try not to get eat up by what line cost to an extent its way more important than a bunch of expensive lures .I've experimented with lots of lines and all work good some just work better . JoeP
I bought one spool to try it and now it's going on all of my spinning set ups. I've never used braid on a spinning rod but the Nanofil is super sensitive and casts a mile, perfect for drop shots, throwing tiny crankbaits and wacky rigs. It's pricy but it has ZERO memory and one spool should last at least one full season. I have spare spools for my spinning reels so one filled with Nanofil and the other with flourescent fluorcarbon for night fishing and I'm good.
